This is an ongoing story providing an alternative fan-made ending to the Mass Effect story, with a single game-changing maverick transforming the course of history: Marauder Shields. Be sure to start reading at episode 6.

The Crucible being a Trojan Horse makes far more sense than someone somewhere figuring out hat for some reason plugging it into the Citadel will destroy the Reapers.

Which come to think of it... why would anyone ever think that would work?
