A motherload of setups

"Plan B" was all about setting up our future developments and laying down bits of info and backstory that will come into play once we follow up on the Crucible's plot, the Reaper Origins and - last but not least - the way Reapers will react to what's coming in chapters 39 and 40.

Speaking of the devil, expect Episode 39 ("The Debt, Part 1") to roll in on Wednesday (two days from now). Hopefully we'll be able to make the waiting time a bit more bearable with an incredible interview that we'll be publishing tomorrow - be sure to check it out as well.

More info soon (we've had a bunch of brilliant developments lately, but also a huge downer causing a lot of trouble for Jeff and myself), need to clear the first part of my "pre-Xmas crunchtime" before being able to jump right back to you guys. Keep commenting, sharing your thoughts, asking your questions - I'm reading everything and will be replying shortly. Can't wait to deliver the next two episodes, definitely one of my favorites!

Hope is Alive!

Irving's Journal entry voice acting is *perfect*. It actually makes me FEAR the INDOCTRINATION, and let me tell you, it's not that easy to evoke fear through an audio recording... Amazing job.

For the second time now, i can only really enjoy the audiobook when listening to it a second time, knowing what to expect. Once the 1st hearing sets the mood up, i can truly appreciate the work at the second time. I dont know if its some fault in the creation process, or it just mirrors the diverse collection of moods this ending would entail.

I think they need something at the beginning. Before the real talking begins, something that sets the mood of the place it is happening on, just for the 1st box or so, for not longer than a few seconds, slowly disappearing at the 2nd or 3rd box. Very quiet background noises of the place it plays in, like the sounds of a busy admiralty ship/Crucible's engine humming here, Or the distant noises of the war, the steps of a reaper above us back in the thorian audiobook.

Other than that, the voice acting, the background music and the overall quality is top grade, nice work.

Nice job. Some friendly rant/critique/you-don't-have-to-read-it-really follows. =)
Mordin needs some voice-changing software love.
In last two text bubbles Irving sounds kinda tired. Maybe there should be more (maniacal) determination?

Awesome job from all involved, especially AssaultSloth!

Wow, AssaultSloth, I applaud you and your delivery here. The codex monologue was powerful and your tempo and inflections conveyed Irving's inner revelations powerfully. All the voice acting was awesome. Adoree sounded just quintesential Asari here.

that's the best audiochapter by now. Good lord, this episode is amazing! Solheim and Irving -- awesome covering of these characters! :)

Assault Sloth....words fail me. emotional and terrifying, you can see the cracks in Irving's mind, the..cancer in his soul. Even now , as the Galaxy unites to beat the Devil, they still underestimate his powers of seduction and subtlety. I wonder how many people Irving will kill when he realizes what's happening.. how many lives will be cut short when the madman removes his mask for all to see... Irving makes Kensson look like a sane woman...

Sad to say that of all the MS audiobooks this is my least favourite of them.
Most of all, it's the pace! I's so slow and dragged out and they all sounds so calm, because well it's not like the reapers are about to destroy the entire universe as they know it or anything.
And the journal is so long I mean 5-6 minutes of a single person talking very slowly is perhaps a little... underwhelming?

But don't get me wrong it's great and has some quality voice acting and writing but this episode is so slow.
Of course I understand that this is a "plot-information" episode but it could have been made differently, so keep up the great work.
