I'm deep underground right now, hidden in the Cerberus superbunker, crafting the newest episode and hiding away from sunlight... So I'll try to make this quick.

First of all: the ETA on the newest episode may be pushed back to the second half of this week, as there's a looot of ground I need to cover - episode 28 is packed with goodiness. We'll see a few familiar faces we've seen before, catch a glimpse of an yet-unseen half of one of them, get the first lines out of a character that already appeared in the series (well, somewhat) but didn't yet speak a single word, and - last, but not least - learn a bit of crucial information that will set up the upcoming (epic!) mid-season finale. This episode will be a bit less emotional than the last two, but it should give you a glimpse of what I've got in store for one of the main arcs of our alternative ending.

Second of all: GameFront likes Marauder Shields. A lot. So be sure to read and comment on this feature article that the awesome Phil Hornshaw (@PhilHornshaw) wrote about my lil' series and about yours truly - it's a mixture of a lengthy interview and a very informative rundown of what Marauder Shields is all about, well worth a read: [link] - be sure to show your support by commenting, retweeting and spreading it around, as I've really been receiving a lot of love from this cool site. Also, it'll give you a chance to gaze upon my disgusted face, captured on a very stylish photo of me sitting in a stinky harbor. As my dearest Nokyo-Chan (Tali) would put it: "Pure koobsface \:|"

Third thing... I've been working on finalizing some stuff in our scenario, finally dividing up the last bits of my "stream of consciousness" writing into separate episodes... And, woah. That's a lot of material, right there. I will be making some final creative decisions this week and the next, and should finally be able to give you a +/- time estimate on arrival upon our finale (or not, I do tend to overestimate the amount of free time I have, which often leads to episodes being split in half and published as two separate entities). It'll take a bit... But the journey will be well worth it. All arcs will be completed, all plotholes patched up, all questions answered... And, damn, all I can say is that I love it myself.

Recz czwarta... I'm too piss-poor to be able to make it to Comic-Con (plus, the fact that I'm constantly crunching at work doesn't help either), but I just wanted to let you know that we will have a Marauder Shields team on-site, with Jeff (@KoobsAudio) leading the way. Be sure to contact him on twitter [link] or e-mail him directly at jeff@koobismo.com to check up with our CC plans and get a chance for sharing a beer, cider or a soda of your choosing. Jeff should be accompanied by 3 or more people of our team, including the voice of Nihlus himself.

Here I am, promising myself to keep it short... I just have so much stuff to tell you guys! Like the fact we're going to have BioWare coolcats cameoing in our audiobooks. Or the fact that we've just finished up an interview with one of the original Mass Effect voice actors, which we'll post soon enough... Or the fact that the awesome Malu (@Malukah) has drawn me the sweetest and awesomest thing ever: [link] - it's got both Harbinger AND Alduin! Promise to cover even more stuff with my next journal entry, but for now...

Be well, my friends. I'll see you in the comments. Keelah Se'lai.

P.S. I do prefer "woah" to "whoa", be it correct or not. It just sounds like Keanu Reeves waking up on a bus after missing his stop.

P.S.2. Speaking of GameFront - I've also been quoted and featured in another article of theirs, here: [link] - worth a few minutes of your time as well!

P.S.3. Also, be sure to hit the internet with retweets, forum posts and comments leading people to this series - I've been receiving a lot of weird signals last week, indicating that a lot of people actually thought that "Marauder Shields" stops at the EC... Well, all I can say is... It sure does not.

P.S.4. Discovered that I can format text in DA. I am happy now.
  • Mood: dA Love
  • Listening to: The White Stripes
  • Reading: GameFront
  • Watching: Miranda's angry dancing
  • Eating: Urm, roasted tribbles?

Hahahahaha. This is one piece of evidence out of many as to why you are the best. :D

“In my opinion –- both private and professional –- the ending of Mass Effect 3 breaks the whole trilogy on a very basic level, shattering the emotional engagement of a vast percentage of players. This is what I’m trying to fix, whether it’s something doable or not… It’s up to you all to decide, people.”
Thats what i think too.
You and the rest of your team are doing an admirable job of fixing this and i hope to see things done by you for a long time. ME3 is broken, but Marauder Shields came of it. That is something at least.

Cool interview, nice to see you getting some mainstream recognition. The Spoiler at the end made me especially smile=). On the future of course its in your hands but would love to see maybe a starsignal comic if its not becoming a game.

Nice article, nice news (no pressure for episode reschedule, you may and should take any time you need). Thirty-something more episodes? Do want! I guess you are planning to end it exactly one year after initial game release? Let's hope maya were wrong then, wouldn't want to miss it. =)

Thanks, Nevar. :) Aye, I am definitely happy about it, my second interview on the project and a third is possibly lining up. :)

Damn it, I'm all the way in Australia; too far away from any conventions that have people that I actually want to meet.

Not that I'd go, anyway; the only thing I'd ever have to say to you is "Hi. Your work is awesome". Not exactly good for making conversation, I am.

Also, the problem is that "woah" is the incorrect spelling just as it's incorrect to spell my name is "Poricomesis".

But... But it's Keanu! :D Truth be told, I'm taking the liberal approach towards it, a couple similar words and some onomatopoeias, because it's just something you shout out, not a solid piece of speech - even if you shout it out incorrectly. However, notice I remembered your correction and keep it in mind. ;)

Yeah, the distance is a Comic Con killer for myself as well - flying from here to San Diego would cost a fortune I unfortunately do not yet have. :D Maybe someday.

I don't even watch many movies so the words "Keanu Reeves" don't hold much weight for me.

I don't even want to fly. I prefer to stay at home and write my reviews- OH CRAP, FORGOT TO POST MY LATEST ONE HERE!
